Haven’t posted here in a long time, so sorry if I make any mistakes!
I just set up a brand new Chromecast with Google TV at a friend’s house, wanting them to have an easier way to access Plex. All the other services work just fine: Disney+, Netflix, etc.
However, even though I can load up Plex just fine, any time I try to watch an episode or a movie, it crashes, resetting the app.
What’s really strange is casting works totally fine; I’m able to send whatever I want to Plex via my phone and it works perfectly without a hitch. It’s just whenever I try to actually select something to play using the remove, the app crashes.
Wanted to get this out there, as for now the app is entirely unusable without casting. Hopefully this can be fixed soon…!
