Cinema Trailers: Normalize Volume

I find cinema trailers a great feature with a large library. However, cinema trailers could be improved with some extra tweaks:
-By Genre: queue up trailers for movies in my library (or upcoming in theatres, if user selected that option) which match or closely match the genre of the movie I am trying to watch. Most IRL theatres do this. [mod-edit: duplicate → see below]
-Normalize volume: numerous times starting a movie I will be sound blasted by the trailer before the film. It would be great if this could be normalized somehow. Might not be possible since it’s being streamed but maybe lower the volume a little bit?

There’s already an existing suggestion discussing an option to restrict cinema trailers to specific genres (e.g. the genre of the movie about to play).
Please comment/vote in that thread in order to help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes.

Advanced Trailer Controls: Genre

I would like to see the ability to specify the genres that I am interested in seeing trailers from. Alternatively (or additionally) if that is too restrictive I would also like the ability to specify genres I do NOT want to see trailers from. I, for instance, would probably set my filters to prefer Sci-Fi and Fantasy, and filter out all Romantic Comedies and Childrens movies.   Like if you like ;)
