Clarification for rating display needed / Suggestion for 5-Star ratings on Carplay

Hello

I need some clarification on the display of the ratings on the now playing screen on Apple Carplay.
I have three songs, with different ratings (5-Star system), where i don’t quite get the state of the single-star rating button:

1. A 4-Star rated Song:
   
   
2. A 2-Star rated Song:
   
   
3. And a unrated Song:
   
   

Also there are times, where no rating Button shows up at all, but I can’t reproduce that for sure currently.

I suggest using something like this for 5-Star ratings:

Beginning with the empty star for unrated, then 5, 4, 3… spikes filled.

That would really help me, I like taking new music to the car and rate it during the ride. Currently i do this with Apple Music, but transferring the ratings with playlist export etc. is a pain…

CarPlay ratings supports a tri-state system love/hate/neutral (using the system with fragmented stars as you suggest would be too hard to understand on a small display).
