Hello, Jan

It is not currently possible to put the star rating on the main “Now Playing” screen, sorry. If you are using our Mobile Sync feature to sync content to your mobile device, you could create smart playlists based on music rating and then sync the playlist.

If you run into issues, please post specific details in our support forums at https://forums.plex.tv/ if you haven’t done so already. Our staff or friendly community should be able to help you out.

Thanks for your interest in Plex!

This would be incredibly handy and save a lot of time. Currently working my way through my updated music library on Plex imported from iTunes (finally!) and rating all my songs (Plex does not import rating from file) and have to click […] to access ratings and back again to skip track every time. Why not have rating on now playing between album artwork and track progress?? There’s a handy little gap…! Would be easy to implement.

Also, on a side note, why do we still not have the ability to share playlists, regardless of type, with other users on a server? Again, would be a great and simple feature to implement.

try using Plexamp, it’s a much better app.
