With the new movie scanner I have found myself needing to do the Plex Dance a few times recently (Tesla anyone). Every time I do the “clean bundles” step it takes way longer than I remember it taking in the past and always lists a VERY large number of bundles that it’s deleting, Today’s number is 100,387 bundles. That seems like an awful lot of unused bundles to accumulate in a week or so for the relativity small number of items I have on the server. 1861 TV episodes, 818 movies and 12,226 albums.
So the first and easiest question, is this normal? Second, if this is not normal and this is a problem, how do I remedy the issue? In scheduled tasks I have everything checked except “Update all libraries during maintenance”. So I assume these files are automatically getting purged weekly in addition to when I have to manually clean the bundles.
