Is it possible to make the fade of Sleep End of Track behave similar to Clear Play Queue? Despite the two performing similar functions, the results are quite different.
Clear Play Queue allows the song to completely fade and come to silence, very nice. The downside is that your play queue is empty forcing you to begin again to repopulate queue.
Sleep End of Track finishes the song but Sweet Fades intercepts and begins to play the beginning of the next track before the current track ends. Depending the the next track, it could be very noticeable. Using Sleep End of Track allows the queue to remain intact so you can resume the queue at a later time.
It appears this has been brought up before but possibly unconfirmed or unaddressed. I consider this a bug. Try this at home:
Turn ON Sweet Fades
Configure a queue that has song 1 with a long fade and song 2 has a quick start to volume. As song 1 fades, keep an eye on the number of seconds left before Sweet Fades moves to song 2. Now use the rewind button to start song 1 again. While playing song 1, enable sleep timer end of track. Listen to the end of song 1 as it undesirably quick fades at the time Sweet Fades would begin song 2.
This time start song 1 and at some point during playback select Clear Play Queue. Regardless of the Sweet Fades On or Off setting, the song should fade gracefully.
Thanks for continuing to make Plexamp the best player around.
