I have actors that feature in both movies and TV shows but when I click on an actor in movies I only get relevant movies, same for TV (only relevant TV). Can this be fixed so I can see all content that an actor stars in?
When you click on an actor profile picture or one of the other links on a movie page, this will apply a filter in the current library… therefore you only see what’s in that particular library.
From that point of view it’s not so much a but but “by design”.
There’s some feature suggestions asking to change that behavior (e.g. pointing to an actor profile page or showing a cross-library filter / search result):
If you use the search engine (slupa) for actors, directors, etc., the results appear in all libraries (movies, series, TV…). I hope this helps you.
