Cloud Sync not retreiving synced files (looks like Plex deleted my entire sync library)

When: Started Feb 28 that I noticed it

What: When I go to Cloud Sync, on any device (Android, iOS, Mac) - my files are gone… except for the last one uploaded. The last one I uploaded was on Feb 28 in the morning.

I’ve got Cloud Sync set up with Dropbox, and when I looked at Dropbox, all the files form Plex Cloud Sync were deleted yesterday! I was able to restore them in Dropbox but it took a long time and it was a pain.

Even after restoring all my deleted files from Dropbox - nothing appears in my Cloud Sync library…

Same here. Looks like a reinstall?

Are you sure you are looking at the right server? Looking at your account I see you have Plex Cloud and Cloud Sync both enabled. Were you looking at the wrong one? Or if you are using Dropbox for both, did you point your Plex Cloud to your Cloud Sync folder?

Hey MovieFan.Plex - yeah, I’m sure - interesting thought but it’s definitely the Cloud Sync. I only have 1 thing on Plex Cloud as a test and everything else is in Cloud Sync.

I didn’t change anything to point to anywhere differently, everything just disappeared at once (except one file). Looking at my Status > Sync > Cloud Sync I still see a ton of checkmarks telling me things are Synced, but I can’t access any of the media except the last one I synced. Everything else is gone. Unfortunately, your PMS logs don’t include the time the files were deleted. I do see where the Sync process is looking for changes.

So I don’t see why PMS would have deleted the files as it still thinks they are needed.

So what do I need to do? Do I have to remove everything from Cloud Sync and re-add it back?
