Collection added to wrong library

I have 7 libraries (3D, 4k, HD, Kids, Kids TV, Concerts, and Star Wars) on my PMS running on a 2017 nVidia Shield.

My Star Wars library is for unofficial titles, like fan edits, despecialized editions, grindhouse, etc.

This week I got the Star Wars 4k box set, ripped and put the movies in my 4K library. I then created a Collection for the Star Wars titles, so I could find them easily within the library.

For some reason, the new Star Wars movies (from the 4k library/star wars collection) are showing up in the Star Wars library, which is pointing to a different folder than the movies are in.

My libraries are all Plex Proper.
/videos/4k/Title (year)/Title (Year).mkv
/videos/Kids/Title (year)/Title (year).mkv
/videos/Star Wars/Title (year)/Title (year).mkv

More oddly, on the web UI, the titles don’t appear in the library, but on the Shield they do. I have restarted, rescanned and emptied trash. The library is small enough to do the Plex Dance if I have to, but I don’t see why that would help considering its finding titles that aren’t in the library.

Any thoughts?

Collections show things across all libraries if they are named the same so one can find related items in the collection and preplay screens

I have a “starwars” collection in Movies and a “starwars” collection in TV so all of them show up in the collection. If you don’t want your 4k collection mixed in with your other collection. give the StarWars films in the 4k library a collection tag like Star Wars 4k

Outstanding! Thanks so much.

I had a sneaking suspicion that it was something having to do with the same names, but hadn’t found anything specifically stating thats how it worked.
