Collection handling

Is there a way to show the collection only, and not every single media file when they are part of a larger repository. For instance, I just added a large number of similar media files to my kids repo and it’s taking up a huge chunk of space in my recently added items section (and I am sure the library view too). It would be nice to be able to squish this down and ONLY show a single entry for the collection of movies. Does anyone know how to accomplish this?

I want to add that the Recently Added hub will not change. Collections will only affect the Library view.
