I need some help for setting up several media collections. I have a plex server on my synology nas and some devices with kodi and Plexkodiconnect Addon. It works flawless so far. I have a collection called movies and one for tv series. Now I want to add a third media collection called “Demo” where I have some HDR testfiles an demo material. Therefore I created this mediacollection and it works so far, but I don’t want the clips from the demos collection to be shown in the movies collection. How can I impede that the clips from demo will be shown in the movies collection?
Are you talking about actual “Collections” or are you referring to “libraries”?
If you you mean “libraries”, you determine what appears within each of them by pointing them to a specific folder, which contains only media files which are intended for that particular library. https://support.plex.tv/articles/200289266-editing-libraries/
