Collection Issue Since last update

After upgrading to this version I have noticed that Collections, although set to “Hide collections but show their items” show under certain circumstances. This setting has been set since day one and collections have always been hidden. Collections now show via the “Recommended” view. If I browse a library and click on Recommended and select “Recently Added in …” Collections show beside the movie recently imported. This does not happen if I view the the movie list via “Library” view.

This just started to show after the recent upgrade. It has never shown this behavior before. This is showing on two separate plex installs I run that are on two separate machines in 2 separate homes. Bother were upgraded recently, and both started to show this behavior

Quite simply the latest update broke how Collections are hidden and now shows them when viewing a library via “Recently Added”.

Anyone else seeing this?

The collection visibility options only apply to how they’re listed inline while displaying the library.

What you describe has been mentioned before. I don’t remember when it was first showing up for me, but it‘s been some time. Personally, I consider it makes sense… if you recently added a new collection, it’ll be listed in the details of this hub.

If I configure the system to hide collections. it should. Not just when it feels liek it. lol

Odd though. I have 2 separate installs in 2 separate homes. and this only every showed up after many years of use after the lats update.

It’s quite simply a bug and should be addressed.

As a paying customer, I would hope that these types of reports are actioned.
