Ever since collections started to include multiple media types, I’ve been waiting and hoping to see a Collections “library” (or is it called a “category” or something else?) appear in the list of this pinned to my Plex Player menu. I would expect it to be a whole lot like the existing Playlists item that has been there forever. It would include ALL collections, whether they have many media types, or only one – but (obviously) each collection should appear in the list only once (rather than once for each media type.)
If this already exists, I apologize for my inability to find this feature/option and humbly request help in activating it.
If not, is there any chance this could be added … someday?
You currently cannot do that (except accessing each collection from within a library). There’s however a feature suggestion for having an optional entry in the main navigation to show an aggregated view of all collections independent of their content
