I have a collection on my server that is essentially frozen. I cannot remove titles (I’ve tried deleting the collection name from the title and clicking “Remove from Collection”, nothing happens either way). I also cannot delete the collection outright, it’ll disappear for maybe a few minutes and reappear again. The console doesn’t report any issues, and I can’t find anything in the logs to suggest any errors.
Not sure which logs would be helpful, If anyone would like to take a look at them feel free to reply and I can provide them.
Thanks!
Usually, the Plex Media Server.log should show if there’s anything going on – e.g. some database corruption.
Does the issue persist if you trigger / finish a database optimization (Settings > [Server Name] > Manage > Troubleshooting → Optimize Database)?
Thanks for the reply, unfortunately that didn’t seem to work. Here’s the log you mentioned. I optimized the database and cleaned bundles before I deleted the collection.
Here’s the line where it was deleted (first line of the file):
Sep 29, 2024 23:21:14.009 [140110102276920] DEBUG - [Req#5425f8] Added new metadata item ( Cole’s Recommendations! ) with ID 121322
It seemed to happen right after verifying if it had actually been removed by going to the Tags section under a title from said collection.
Not only was the collection listed under Tags in the edit page, but clicking the x next to it doesn’t remove it after clicking Save Changes and exiting. Plex Media Server.log (235.5 KB)
