Recently on my iOS and Web App versions of Media player when I would choose the Movies library it shows both the movies and collections both. While I appreciate this feature, I like to just see one or the other. How do I do this?
I think (part of) the issue here is that even if you have a single “part” of a collection, Plex builds a collection for it.
In reality, there should be a rule where the User would have to own 2 or more items belonging to a Collection to either ‘build’ or ‘show’ the Collection.

There’s already a feature request to only show inline collections with 2 or more items (maybe even configurable as there’s users who apparently consider collections with less than 4 items not desirable).
As for the “building a collection”… Consider that Plex will only automatically do that if you have configured your agent/library to download collection information from The Movie Database! If that’s not enabled, all the collections you get should be the ones you tagged yourself.
