I’m trying to set up manual collections, but having an issue where the items don’t save, or get corrupted later on.
- Create the Collection
- Add items to it
- It works fine for a few days/a week
Then, it gets corrupted.
- Collection names and thumbnails show correctly
- 0 items shown under the title
- No items when clicking through
- It’s not all collections (approx. 30 out of 60, half)
- Shows consistently on all players
Tried the following to troubleshoot:
- Reboot Plex
- Reboot media server computer
- Plex Database repair scripts
This happened a few weeks ago, and I just figured I’d done something wrong, so I manually went through and recreated them. And then it happened again.
Hoping to find a way to get those back, and then back them up. Ideally, I’d be able to write the collection to a tag in the file, so it’s more permanent, if something was to happen with Plex again.
