Collections are super cool, and I particularly like that they are shared with your library for other users to see, unlike playlists. However, I wish it was possible to set the “How to display collections” setting on a per collection basis.
Some collections (Back to the Future, Iron Man, The Matrix, etc) it makes sense to display as “Hide items which are in collections”. But other collections (Jack Ryan, Marvel, Shane Black) I would rather NOT see the collection inline in the Movies list, instead I would rather the movies display in the list individually. Except in the case of that they are in ANOTHER collection, which is set as “hide items…”. I only want these collections to show up in the “Collections” view.
Anyway, minor thing, but hopefully something you can consider changing!
