Having a bit of a weird issue with collections that have the same name not showing up together across Movie and TV libraries. This did work at one point so not sure why it’s suddenly not working?
(See screenshot below) So for example - I have a collection of MCU movies called Phase Two, and a collection of MCU tv shows called Phase Two, and when you enter each collection they did cross-display together when you scroll down, but now they are not. Plex seems to think about it for a bit with the orange loading wheel, but then it stops and nothing happens. These are manual collections not smart collections.
Anyone experienced this and have a solution? Thanks
Have you tried a different browser to see if it is something going on with the browser you are using? You can also try using an Incognito/Private window to see if it something with cookies/cache.
I am on the same server version as you (running via Docker on CentOS though) and it is still working as expected for me.
Also, are you using the locally hosted web app or are you using the web app at https://app.plex.tv? And have you checked a different app to see if it works there?
I’ve just ran through every possible variation & combination to test if it is a browser issue (using a mixture of standard and private windows across all the known browsers) and the issue is still there.
I also just tried deleting a collection and remaking it to see if that would “refresh” it somehow and Plex see it as a brand new collection, but sadly that didn’t work either. I’ve checked apps on different devices, and cleared the cache and the issue is still there.
And I’ve tried the “Optimise Database” function from the Troubleshooting menu. Someone on reddit suggested the database could be corrupted, which is why I ran the DBRepair-Windows.bat, but that didn’t fix it. So unless there’s another fix I can do?
