Collections with the same name not working as documented

I consider it to be rather useful the way it is and haven’t noticed the same-named collections to be missing on the collection pages. I suppose everyone has their own use cases :upside_down_face:

For me, the interconnection between collections is pretty useful and I used it all of the time. I don’t have to remember if a show is a movie or a TV Show. I can just get there from a collection on either side. It’s also helpful with a Collection for soundtracks in my music library. @elan … Is this on the list of issues to address in an upcoming update to the Apple TV app? Thanks!

Any updates on this! I have the same issue. Collection shows movies and tv shows from the web and iOS client. On the Apple TV I only see the movies in the collection and not the tv shows.

Still no movement on this, which is very disappointing. The Apple TV software has had a recent update, but no fix unfortunately.

Another thought on this: Even when it is working correctly the listings for the other libraries with the same name don’t wrap onto the next line - i.e if there are 18 entries in each library, the first library will show as two lines with 9 items on each, whereas the next one will just show them strung out on one line so that you have to scroll across to see all 18 of them. It would be nice if every library’s entries wrapped to the next line.

I see my Apple TV Plex App has had an update but the problem continues. I’m beginning to think it will never be fixed, alas.

Yes, same here. It’s working fine on iOS, but still not on AppleTV which is my preferred platform. I’d love to hear as to when it will be on the list to fix. Just so we know that development is at least working on it. Silence is disappointing.

As Elan mentioned above he passed it along to let them know and there is a bug report for it but sorry I do not have an ETA on fix.
