I almost added “again” in my title because I know it has been asked at least twice before, but I am not sure which forum …
As my music library grows, I would love the option of grouping albums into collections. Most of the examples are for artists, but let me throw in one more example of soundtracks. For example, I have a number of the Marvel Avengers series soundtracks, I would like to group them together. One could do the same for several other series that have multiple albums and/or with multiple artists/composers (i.e. Harry Potter, Dark Knight Trilogy, Bond, etc.). As someone had mentioned, we can sort by artist, or whatever, but I want my library to be displayed as is. Just like with the movies, I think it would be beneficial to have collections with the ability to hide the collected albums so I don’t have them scattered throughout my list. Thank you!

Thank you for your very quick reply and I can see that you live up to your Ninja title … I see you every where and with precision all over this forum.
While this is very helpful, the end goal is to unclutter my library. I have my music in different libraries and in this case I have a soundtrack library that my whole family uses. By default, we have this library sorted by Album and by Title because we don’t know the artist/composer by memory for at least a quarter of them. Since we normally go into this library to listen to a certain movie soundtrack, it does not work to sort it any other way. Sorting this way works really well for the Harry Potter Soundtracks, but not so much for the Avengers Movies or even the few James Bond Soundtracks we have. I would love to group things together in collections like I do with my movies so it consolidates the library. I realize that this would probably be an under-used feature and you guys have to triage these requests, but I appreciate the ability to put it out there. In one sentence: if you could copy and paste the “collections code” from movies and put it music, it is exactly what I want … but I know it is not that easy.

Side note: Thinking about it, I have different libraries because I can’t divide up the music into collections … but this is not a complaint. We have a Holiday Music library, Soundtrack Library, Classical Music Library, General, etc. I imagine if I could make collections, I could make all of these their own relative collection within a single music library. However, then I would ask for an ability to do collections within collections because of the exact issue I am talking about. Thanks again!
So what you are asking for are collection within a music library.
