Connecting Sony TV Plex app to Plex Server without internet access

Server Version#:4.147.1
Player Version#:8.6.9.10646-4939bd20e-Plex
I have a Windows 10 Pro PC which I plan to use as a Plex Movie Server. On the October 14, 2025 the “End of Life” for Win 10 Pro v22H2 occurs. I plan to disable internet access. I would like to access this server internally in my home only. I have followed all the instructions for connecting my Roku Plex app with the server but no joy. I have added the IP Address/Subnet mask in the online server settings per the instructions. I have checked the box for DLNA. The Roku plex app still won’t connect to the server. Am I doing something wrong or missing a step? Is what I’m trying to do not possible? All your help is appreciated

DLNA has no baring on this unless you plan on using DLNA players. Doing this will cause the Plex Client to load slow at first start as it is trying to use the Internet so you will have to wait a few seconds for it to start loading. Also if I recall correctly you have to set this all up prior to you disconnecting your Internet connection.

On the server you need to do the following:

Under Network set the following.

Lan Networks and List of IPs that do not requires auth to 192.168.0.1/255.255.255.0,127.0.0.1/255.255.255.0
The first IP address should be your gateway address so you will have to look that up.

On the plex client you need to set Allow Insecure Connection to Local Network.

First off, haven’t seen Alucard used in a long time. That goes back to the days of Bela Lugosi, Count Alucard.

Thank you for the reply. I will add the 127.0.0.1/255.255.255.0 to see if that completes the connection.
