I seem to recall being able to control what is being played on my Xbox One through the web client.
Example scenario:
I am watching episode 20 of season 2 of a TV show one day with that entire season 2 queued on the Xbox One. I decide to go to bed and stop playback.
The next day, I decide to resume playback, but if you choose episode 20 or 21 it will only play that singular episode and stop upon completion instead of continuing the queue. So you are forced to stop and exit back to hit play on the season page to start the queue back up. The problem here is that now you have to begin at episode 1 of season 2 and have to skip forward 20 times to get back to where you were the day before.
I can’t find a way to select an episode within a season that will continuously play into the next episode without performing the above.
I figured one way to simplify my experience by eliminating the tedious skip exercise was to open up the episode page from a web client and choose the device to cast/control. I remember being able to do this before but now I’m unable to. I see the cast icon (Chromecast looking icon) but only actual Chromecast devices are available in the drop-down list, not available Plex clients.
I feel like I’m missing something to re-enable the capability. Any other suggestions are welcome as well. Thanks!

Nope, that has never been a part of the Xbox One app. The Dev’s have stated they do want to add the functionality to reach feature parity, but other than that there has not been a timeframe or ETA for this feature.

I totally missed this part when I first read through.
Unfortunately, there is not currently a way to do this besides starting the video and fast forwarding through until you get the episode (Which is very unfriendly). More than likely we will need to wait for filter support so we can filter to unwatched episodes and then select play all. Or wait for a Play queue menu for videos similar to the one seen for Music.
What I do end up doing is if the show is playing in the OnDeck menu from your main screen you can select to play with the X button which does cut down the amount of navigating. (But still at this time does not auto play)
