"Conversion failed. Transcoder failed to start up" error on Apple TV

Lately, I’ve been having an increasing number of videos fail to start up on my Apple TV. I get the “Conversion failed. Transcoder failed to start up” error. Even videos that just a few weeks ago played without issue are suddenly having this problem.

I’ve tested these videos by playing them directly from the computer with VLC and also with playing them from the Plex app on both the computer running the server and another computer on the network and the videos play fine in all those instances. The problem only occurs with Apple TV.

I read about deleting the codecs and have tried this, but it didn’t do anything. I’ve attached the log files.

For now, this problem seems to have resolved. If anyone else is experiencing something similar, I deleted and re-downloaded the Plex app from my Apple TV and that fixed the problem.
