Conversion failure error on Mac and Sony TV app

Suddenly getting error “Conversion failed. The transcoder exited due to an error.” and don’t know why. Fishy that it’s come right after a PMS upgrade and I’m stuck with no clue what to do.

Server Version#: 1.18.1.1973
Player Version#: not sure how to get this information for Mac or Sony TV

How do I get this resolved?

Does it work if you disable hardware transcoding in PMS settings?
You can roll back to the previous PMS version that worked.
