I converted my old VHS tapes to DVD quality using a Canopus ADVC 300 a few years ago. Now I’d like to convert/upscale these DVDs to 720 HD or 1080 digital media. without losing quality if possible. Either MKV or MP4 to watch using PLEX. any suggestions… Thanks for any help with this…
This doesn’t make sense. You can’t add in detail which was not there in the first place.
You will gain nothing from this, except bigger files with even poorer quality.
Agreed. I’d be inclined to do the opposite, convert them to make them smaller. Use h.264 codec and you can reduce them in size without sacrificing quality.
