So I have a Raspberry pi 3 running the latest plex software on raspbian jessie. I recently started this project and I want to optimize all the media for mobile use, however my rpi is taking forever to convert te media. Are there any other ways I could convert the media? If so, could I convert the media with another (more powerfull) server and copy that data to the media files of my rpi plex server or could I convert the media with my main computer using a program like Handbrake (if so, which format should i
Yeah the Pi will be very slow for that kind of job. I converted the media on my desktop then moved them to an external drive for the pi plex to use.
