Copy remote settings from OSMC? Setting up a RF remote

Hi,

I’ve been playing with Rasplex as a gift to one of my friends. I use OSMC myself because of my TV setup(Dvblink). I use it with a Mele F10 remote (RF) which works flawlesly in OSMC, however in Rasplex im having issue with a few button that isn’t mapped, for example the return button doesent do anything.

Now ive been trying to figure out how adjust the keypresses, but i simply can’t figure it out after hours of googling.
People suggest using tail -F /home/osmc/.kodi/temp/kodi.log or irw. The tail command only shows buttons that are actually working - my return key never shows. IRW never shows anything, even with my tv’s remote (HDMI cec)

Has anybody had any experience configuring a RF remote for rasplex?

This is what shows up in kodi.log if i hit the remotes ‘up’ button (works fine)

irw will never show anything for RF remotes, it’s for InfraRed remotes.

If you have debug turned on, press all of the keys on your remote and make a note of which key Rasplex thinks is being pressed then create a keymap.xml file in the /storage/user data/key maps directory to map your key presses to those you require.

Google for Kodi or XBMC and keymap for info on how to construct the file.
