Rasplex 0.70 how to map a remote key using CEC on an LG TV

I have Rasplex fully running on one LG and it works great, setup on another LG TV using CEC and it works apart from the back button so I am stuck and can’t go back through the menus. I have searched on here and found a couple of ideas but the files it tells me to edit and directories they are in don’t seem to exist to me. Not sure if this has changed on 0.7 release of I am being dumb, probably the latter.

cd .xbmc/userdata/keymaps

So my question is, can this be done easily, all I want is to map a back button somehow so my daughter can use her Rasplex.

Any advice would be awesome.

Many Thanks

Chris

The directory path is /storage/.plexht/userdata/keymaps

Not sure if your LG works like mine but you can try pressing stop then play immediately after. This combo seems to act as the ‘back’ on my LG TV via CEC.
Not very user friendly for you daughter though. This was the only reason i bought usb IR remotes for my pi’s (£5).

Where did you get the remote from for a £5 ?

I bought three of the following

They work out of the box with rasplex and work better than the gpio remote i used previously.
Not sure how long the remote controls will last but at least the kids and wife can now navigate the menus properly.
I have programmed my harmony remote to emulate the remote so i get to use a nicer remote and the kids have the cheapy remotes.
I believe they do a larger slightly more expensive version but cannot comment on that one.

Thank you that will be perfect
