I have ripped a Bluray of Midway and then uploaded the raw file to my NAS shared folder that my Plex server looks to. My issue is when i watch the fipped file on my pc it has no issues but when watching from a Plex player client i get a message 4 minutes in warning me about copyright/playlist obfuscation and still has audio but no video just that message. Wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this? Thank you.
Plex does not play raw rips. You need to mux it in to a .mkv file - use makemkv
Im sorry i didnt word that correctly. When i say raw i meant the mkv file that makemkv spits out. It play on my pc but only gets about 4mins in on my plex server before it shows that message.
There is a long thread regarding Midway on the makemkv forum.
From a quick scan of the thread, it appears MakeMKV does not identify the correct source.
You might review the thread and make sure you are ripping the correct source from the disc.
