agreed. Needs to be fixed.

This thread is over 4 years old.

I doubt we ever will see this feature.

There are MULTIPLE threads that have gone on for YEARS on here…this one being one of them, with absolutely nothing from the Plex developers. Why in the world have a feature suggestion forum when nothing is responded to or even looked at?? Makes absolutely no sense.

I would also be happy if Atmos, Auro and DTS: X are finally displayed! If this is not possible with logos, then just use a name or an abbreviation. Or from me as a further filter, similar to HDR.

Please also give us the opportunity to create certain filters ourselves, that would be enough. It can’t be that difficult.

I recently got the Lifetimepass and I hope I don’t regret it.

In the sense of: Merry Christmas!

I would love to see this implemented with logos

I may consider try and do the same.

Currently I have two separate libraries, one for movies in Dolby Atmos and one for movies in DTS:X.

Voted! 100% needed!

Since the Dolby Vision tag has been added under [Feature Request] Media Info on Dolby Vision Videos

Does this mean we’ll get Dolby Atmos, dts:X, dts-HD etc tags soon?

Any news on this? If we can show DV surely we can show Atmos?

Really need this - I have no idea which of my movies/shows have Atmos or DTS:X. I have to actually play them and see what my receiver reports which is stupidly time consuming. I want to just search my movie database and find Atmos content.

Really need to have the audio tracks displayed correctly. It is a bug if otherwise.

With how long it has been since this issue has been created and with the addition of the “DoVi” text in the web browser, I cannot help but wonder if Plex is working on getting the rights to the use the actual Dolby and DTS logos so it looks more “official”. Plex is also a service used to find movies to watch and some people like to know if a movie they are going to watch on another service has Dolby Atmos/Vision. I know Apple TV’s website shows you whether or not a movie has Dolby Vision/Atmos with the logos so I am wondering if Plex is trying to compete with that?

I am just shocked nothing has happened since the addition of that “DoVi” text earlier this year.

The “DoVi” text only appears in the web browser too and not in the Android TV app which is actually where it would be far more useful.
