Personally I find voice search/control systems worthless but others clearly feel differently. I cannot conceive even one situation where I would have any desire to use a voice system. I had the opportunity to test Amazon’s “Echo” for free and to keep the device after testing and, as much as I like…

At some point I agree with you, for example the voice assistant in Android. It can just start a search, or open an app, that it is, very disappointing. The key that is missing is the deep integration that would make everything awesome. I often drive in my car around and get a message, now I want …

Like the idea but wouldn’t this be restricted to a subset of clients (those that are running on Windows).

That’s true, it only runs on it own eco system, just like Siri or what ever Google is calling it’s Voice Assistant =D
