This is more of an inquiry of plex’s current and future development. So plex uses TCP to provide stable media transmission. However there is another upcoming contender in the packet transmission space called Quic which utilizes UDP and secure tls-1.3.
There is the usual pros and cons of UDP, I was wondering if new technology like Quic makes it a little more appealing to allow Quic UDP optionally. OpenSSL 3.5 now also supports server side quic.
