Couldn’t create the playback session

So I got my new PMS up and running (that is, I can see my library), but I cannot get anything to play. I’ve tried locally on my LAN and remotely. I’ve tried mp4 and mkv. On my android tv the circle just spins. On my iPhone I get the error, “Couldn’t create the playback session for this item”. Any help is appreciated.
