I have a couple movies that are permanently listed under Recently Added Movies, I’ve added new ones, but they show up under the 3rd (or higher) position. It’s not a big deal, But it is annoying.
Is it possible that your system date was in the future when you added those movies? You could try deleting and re-adding them after checking your date/time settings to see if that fixes it. I often turn back my system date when I re-add videos so that they don’t show up in the recently added lists.
I deleted and re-added to the library. Then I noticed the file date is set to 2097. Any suggestions on how to change it? (I will search the forums too).
Dumb question, but is your system date correct? I think Plex uses the system date, not the file date. In any case, if you’re on Windows you can use a utility called Bulk File Changer to fix the date on your file:
