I am currently running my Plex Server on a Synology DS918+, it works well, sort of… It has it’s hiccups and I would like to build a faster server to run Plex and some other things. The other things don’t need a ton of CPU or ram, so I am mostly concerned about Plex. My big question is this: I plan to get a GTX 1050 for transcoding, how fast of a CPU and how much memory do I really need to stream 3~4 different 1080p videos to Apple TV’s at one time?
