Crashing

Server Version#: 1.32.2.7100
Player Version#: 4.100.1
Forgive me - never posted a problem on here. For some reason media server just disappears. I run it on a home built Windows 10 NAS which it has existed on for years and never had too much of a problem with it - streaming to a Samsung TV via 4k Firestick. Usually if there is a problem it’s down to the fact that I run internet over mains (old house) and can’t play at the original resolution. I did update the server to the above at the beginning of this week and it seems to be since then that it isn’t working. Literally I fire up media server on the NAS (usually through remote desktop from my laptop) and then open Plex. The particular case where the issue first occurred was having to change the playback settings on a certain TV series as I was just getting black screen with sound - worked fine for the first couple of episodes, then plex just shut down. Today every time I load plex it just disappears from the taskbar within a few seconds without even trying to play anything - just shuts down on it’s own - no warnings or messages. I did rebuild the databse as I had added some movies and TV shows but basically it’s dead.

Any ideas and please guide me through what I need to provide - I did manage to download the logs and database last time I had it working

If your server is on Windows you can gather the logs manually without starting the server

In the search bar enter

%LOCALAPPDATA%\Plex Media Server\Logs

Apologies for the late reply - finally discovered what was causing it - a TV series that was being optimised. Deleted the TV series and everything is now ok. Thanks for your help.
