Create private link to share items with no account

I’d love to be able to create a private link that I can share with anyone for any item in my Plex library. Kinda like a Google drive link where I can share anything with a private link and end user does not need an account to view.

There’s already been a number of suggestions to share video links. Those have been closed/rejected. The gist being this will go way beyond Plex‘ MO of sharing with family and close friends… moving it too close to public file sharing.

i sometimes would like to share a particular movie to a friend by just sending him a quick link so that he lands on a page where he can just play back that one single movie (without going through the myplex registration process and/or getting access to the rest of my server)   the subsonic music server is a good example for that kind of "share link" functionality    it would be GREAT if we could have that in Plex !
