Current version 1.18.0.1913 - Plex v8.3.0.18912 - do i have it up to date?

Hi all,

Just a question really as i see higher versions around on the forum and it seems my Shield 4K is on the current version above - is this the latest one? Unable to update for now via google play or via any other ways which i may not know.

That’s a very old Server Version. Check announcements in the forums to see your lost Compatibility and feature options.

I feel you should update soon.

I would like to update but i have no option to do so on my Plex server of my nvidia shield… went to play store and no updates available. Not sure how to get it for this device.

Just figured it out - I had to go to play store - MyApps - Plex and scroll right down to the end to see plex media server and update from there manually… I now have v1.19.4.2935

FYI - Neither the Plex server or Plex player show up in Google Play my apps. I had to search the play store for them. When located I had the option to upgrade to latest version or uninstall.
