I have plex installed on my xbox one along with a seagate personal cloud server … anyway what is the current version mine shows 1.5.0.0 which says its from 10/7/2014 . It seems that there is a newer version including the ability to play music from folders just trying to figure out how to update and or get the newest version if i dont already have it … ps i do have a plex pass

1.5.0 is the newest version. (I you are connected to xbox live, there is actually no way you are ever on an old version). The date is just the initial release. This never changes.
Music is in this release but no folder view. This is still on the to-do list and will come in a(ny) future update.
Can you use playlists on xbox one that are created in plex?
Yes you can. I use a video playlist that to shuffle my son’s favorite movies and shows.
