Currently playing track (How? Feature request?)

Server Version#: current
Player Version#: current

I have some rather long playlists (for example, Christmas Music). When listening to the list, if I do something (such as edit tags), when I go back to the playlist, I’m at the top of the list and not at the one that is playing. Is there a way to tell the Plex app to “jump to” (that is, change the view to) the currently playing track? I haven’t been able to find such a feature, and it would be very helpful to have this capability.

I have player apps running on Linux, Windows, and Mac.

The dashboard in the web app should show the currently playing item.
It should also provide a short cut into the preplay page of the album/movie/season.
Just click on it.

Yes, thanks; it does.

What I’m looking for is a way to find what is playing in a Playlist or Collection; in a short playlist (100 or so), this is pretty easy (just scroll and look for the indications of a playing song), but in a lengthy playlist (3000), it is impractical. It would be great to have an option to set the view on the currently playing item in that list.
