So which is your preferred DJ? I am not particularly fond of any of the DJs. I wish there was a way to create a custom DJ based on criteria we choose. For instance, a DJ for a particular genre would be nice. I thought DJ Freeze would do that since it says it plays sonically similar tracks, but when something sonically similar traverses cultures, decades, or even genres, it doesn’t make for a good way to keep the mood going. DJ Contempo sounded attractive on paper, until I realized that it plays tracks that shouldn’t be on the same playlist. Yes, they are from the same era, but they are also from different genres, languages, etc. A much better DJ, in my opinion, would be something you can customize by adding guardrails for gender and era. Are Plex engineers open to creating something like this?
