I have multiple people in my home that all watch on different accounts and I have about 5 people that I’ve shared my Plex library with that watch on a somewhat regular basis. When anyone logs in the first thing that shows is recently added, while this is nice for movies, it is somewhat cumbersome for TV shows. If someone hasn’t watched season 1 episode 1, then why are the seeing season 8 episode 5.
It would be cool if Plex had a little more curation. Maybe everyone on the server could rate content. Maybe as the server owner I could recommend content to my friends and family. Although the current interface is very intuitive and clean, it’s not very inovative and at this point has become a little but stale.
