Currently, it looks like the default scanners are setup to automatically ignore folders with the words Bonus, Extra, etc.
It would be nice to have that as a configurable option instead of hard coded in, because I have some content from SickBeard that I want Sickbeard to ignore (they cannot be found in theTVdb, so generate all kinds of errors in log), yet still be picked up by Plex so that I can play those through plex clients.
Also, where are scanners located in linux? I am running linux mint, installed from .deb package ... is there a git source version available so I can run from source?
Sorry, can you explain what you're trying to do a little bit more? You can use a .plexignore file with some wildcards to ignore certain things (though there are a few known issues with it at the moment). You can also write a custom scanner to do exactly what you want. Add it to /var/lib/plexmediaserver/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Scanners on most linux flavors.
(though there are a few known issues with it at the moment). .
Hi - today's PlexPASS preview release announces a .plexignore fixe. Is this now including fixes all all the known issues with nested subfolders? Or are there still outstanding known issues?
Plex Media Server 0.9.9.0 is now available to PlexPass holders.
FIXES:
An issue where .plexignore files weren't working correctly.
