It would be nice if Plex would introduce a datasaver feature, compareble to Spotify it’s feature. So, basically being able to stream music at 24 kbps.
I am asking this because I consider downgrading my connection from unlimited to one where the connection is limited to 64 kbps. These phone subscriptions exist in the Netherlands.
If you use Plex with a phone, I recommend to sync a part of your music to the phone’s storage.
24kbps is maybe enough to understand talking voice, but for actual music it is way too low. Even 64kbps would still come with major audible artifacts.
