Daylight Saving Time - recordings offset

Did anyone else have a problem after daylight saving time changed, where Plex recorded the hour after the scheduled show? I had a couple shows on Sunday and Monday that were missed. Since then I rebooted and everything is working fine.

To be fair, I don’t know for sure if this was an issue with the NAS or with Plex. I didn’t notice the problem until after I rebooted the NAS on Tuesday for a firmware update and by then the clock on the NAS was accurate. The NAS is set to account for daylight saving time and according to it’s settings should have performed the adjustment on 3/12/17 at 2:00am, so that seems correct.

Does Plex keep it’s own clock running in such a way that it could forget to check the NAS time or did my NAS fail to update it’s clock for two full days, until after it was rebooted?

EDIT: never mind. Qnap has a forum thread with multiple complaints about their NAS devices failing to update for daylight saving time. So I guess that answers my question.

I did. My wife asked about a daily, evening entertainment news program that has been missed and when I checked Plex DVR has missed every showing since DST ended. I’m running Plex headless on a Linux machine. I’ll try rebooting to see if that fixes the issue.

It looks as if rebooting has indeed fixed the problem. It ended up refreshing the EPG. So, it seems that refreshing the EPG is really what did the trick for me. They should add a “Refresh EPG after DST” option to Scheduled Tasks.

I am running under windows and having same problem. Daylight savings and everything. Even manually changing a system time will keep the EPG 1 hour ahead of real time. Any suggestions?
