I got the Music videos to work (save video with same name as song -video in the same folder).
But when I play the song it defaults to the non-video version unless I manually select “play music video” in the dropdown.
I would like to be able to just play a bunch of music videos without having to go and right click each time… I tried putting them on a playlist and a collection but that didn’t same make a difference…
Bonus points: how do I download the music videos when I click download on the app? (at least on the plex app, I understand the plexamp app may not know what to do with the video anyway…)
There’s no way to do what you’re asking in a Music library. There’s an old feature request for it.
About the only thing you can do is create a new library (`Other Videos’ type), name it 'Music Videos (or whatever you like), and point it to the same folder your Music library is pointed to. This will gather all the videos from all your albums into a library of just videos. You still can’t mix videos with audio tracks, but you will be able to play your music videos like a playlist.
I don’t use Download much, but I believe the above will let you download the videos.
