I have a little problem with my PLEX. The Quality for Remote Devices is set to 4 Mbps 720p by default https://cdn.treudler.net/shared/screenshots/71aa09cebc5da798eea4bc965f400749.png
That means that PLEX has do transcode most of the watched ressources. Is there any way to set the default quality to Original for all users?

That setting is only for your Web player, in that browser on that computer. It does not impact other users, clients or even a different browser on the same computer. There is not much one can do to control clients, Plex is client-centric in most parts (afaik).

Thank you for your answer. I would like to see this option in the future. It’s not okay to force users to transcode…
Sorry, I think we’re misunderstanding eachother. I’ll try again. They’re not being forced as such, you are. If the user choses to (in his app/client) the “wrong” resolution/bitrate he then forces your server to transcode (or send a very high bitrate file at full speed). If it can’t (due to weak CPU or limited bandwith) it won’t work. As a Plex server owner, catering to remote users one has to either instruct all users how to operate and set their clients as to not max your bandwidth or CPU - or have (more or less, ofc) unlimited of both so as the users doesn’t have to care at all.
