I'm constantly resetting the subtitle language to none to get rid of the white progress bar. If I don't I cannot fast forward or skip chapters in a video file.
Does anybody know what is reenabling this setting on ATV? or how to stop this "feature" :)
I'm pretty sure it's not PlexConnect, since this is a atv control setting.

Is this (white progress bar) still an issue with the latest aTV firmware? Tststs.
I would check Netflix and any other app settings to see if you have subs enabled in there, they can change the global ATV setting.
Do you mean that I shouldn't use subtitles on Netflix?
I just mean that if you reenable them through Netflix i believe it actually reenables them globally which causes this issue.
You need to disable them after using Netflix (you can do this at the end of a media track eg when the credits are rolling).
