Delete cache folder

Hi,

can I delete all files and folders inside of: /var/lib/plexmediaserver/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Cache without any problems? The size is < 45GB. Do I have to shutdown the Plex Server befor delete command?

that folder does not typically get so large since it contains relayhost info, ssh certs, and such things.

i wound not recommend doing that you should be able to find a folder that is that large under cache

Thank you. Folders PhotoTranscoder and Transcoder was 45GB big. Deleted.

I’d ask among your users if anyone is trying to sync/download a lot of media at once.

No sync/download allowed for friends. This would be legally problematic. Thanks
