The subfolder e.g. “Bach Harpsichord Concertos” is on my synology (DSM 6) in “V:\Musik CDs\KLASSIK\Bach, Johann Sebastian”. Plex seems to have no problems with some other subfolders in the same directory. I deleted some of these subfolders, because the music scan always got stuck for 30 mim or so with theses subfolders, even when they were deleted on the server itself…
P.S. I have installed the latest version of Plex
Did you delete this empty folder on DSM itself ?
Can you make it get stuck again and then, when stuck, download the Logs (ZIP file) and attach it here for me to look at?
Thanks for responding so quickly. Yes, I deleted the folder on the DSM.
The log file is that which I can create under troubleshooting/Downloas logs?
This may be the cause: “net::ERR_Connection_Refused”. Can you provide a solution? Plex is scanning now for two weeks and always seems to ghet back to the same directories.
May I see the actual logs ZIP file which has this?

Could this be solution? I make regular snapshots in DSM 6; these are found by PLEX and counted as duplicates?
Here is the answer that finally solved the issue: I use Synology DSM 6 and for safety reasons I had installed regular snapshots for both my PLEX and my music folders. These folders are by definition in the same folder as PLEX and Music (Does anybody know a way to change this?). So in these snapshot folders there always were copies of everything I thought I had deleted. So take care, when using the Synology Snapshot option together with Plex.

Do you mean you have created these folder(s) in the “Plex” shared folder on DSM 6 ?
This is the folder structure on my synology. I have not created these folders myself, but they were created by the Snapshot routine. And I did not find a way to have Snapshot store them somewhere else. If there is a way how I could make this folder invisible to Plex, I would be happy to know about it.
You can hide them.

Thanks. I believe that I had both boxes uncheked. But perhaps - when I once had clicked the second box (to make snapshot folders visible) - Plex remembered them even when the box was unchecked again?
